Time in oak 9 months total – 8 months Sur-Lie in neutral American oak – Lees contact, and 1 month new franchise oak. 65% was barrel fermented, 35% was fermented in stainless steel. The clarity of the wine, clear with a pale intensity and lemon colour, looking inthe glass there is legs/tears formning from alcohol. In the nose (primery aromas) it isa clean and medium intensity with a hint of green apple fruit, citrus fruit notes of lemon, lime, orange peel, and stone fruit notes of peach, (secondary aromas) bread from lees contact and some butter from MLF, and at hint of vanilla from oak, this wine is still developing. Palate the wine i dry, with at medium acidity and high alcohol (14,5%), it has at medium body, the flavour intensity is medium+ flavour characteristics green apple, lemon, lime, orange peel, notes of peach and bread, butter, it has a long finish.
My conclusion of this wine it is a very good wine that you can drink now but it has pontential for ageing maby 4-5 yers more.
I would recommend drinking this wine at a temperature around 12°C (55°F) degrees (ligthtly chilled) Perfect for a light dish of seafood, or chicken and not too spicy, or cheese
I give 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 marks/92P it is a real food friendly wine. The price is around DKK 200 in Denmark @ California Wine https://www.californiawine.dk/da/
